A quirky skirt. Denim base. Patches and motifs using upcycled textile.
Loose red letters spelling out "Homerton Hospital" - the story is that this is the hospital where I was due to give birth to my son. This was before we decided to return to France. On one of my prenatal visits, I had asked a nurse if I could have a hospital gown and was actually given one to take home. The white strips are made out of that gown.
Yellow cotton pleats and crimpled effect. Lots of top stitching. Raw edges. No lining.
38inch waist (96cm).
