Weekend visit

I
am “winding
down” from a
long weekend visit from a very lovely friend from London – she is also my 22
month-old’s
godmother.

I’ve got a few sewing projects on the go, basically a
box full of them, but didn’t fit in much of the hand sewing I was planning to do around a cup of
tea – or glass of wine – while catching up with her! Chilling out is a relative
notion when one has an active toddler reacting near-hysterically to his first
antibiotic treatment, and a 10 month-old puppy entering what seems like her
teenage phase of over-excitement!

The
weather has been fantastic and we fitted in a few nice activities like a bit of
yoga –pregnancy yoga for me, abundant fruit breakfast in the garden, morning
walk or even an amazing home-prepared vegetarian sushi meal.
