Place mat for my friend in London

This was a present I made for my lovely friend Becca, from Stoke Newington. Made as always using bits and pieces and building up a thick layer. 
The placemat edges are secured with a green trim. 
I decided to leave the coasters edges untrimmed. 

The back of each piece is visible, as I think it's not always necessary to hide it. I like to see stitches!!!
