Here is The Bird with Long Legs, inspired by one of my latest blankets.
I have used some vintage linen given to me by Myriam yesterday. The floral fabric on The Bird's feet is the same as the one used in the blanket. I've stuffed it using bits of thread and cut-up bits and pieces which I always keep in a bag or box for this use.

It is a gift for Sophie's newborn baby George. I hope she doesn't look at this before she gets it!

(Note how easy it is to re-use the packaging from another soft toy by sticking labels over the text and re-writing ones own text on top....)
I think it's a lovely idea to have matching blankets and soft toys - a line you'll continue perhaps?? How do you find the time to do so much, I wonder! And I think it's a good idea to have removed the 'humble' from your blog heading - no need to be humble AT ALL. All the best.
