This piece is made from pieces of coloured cotton which draw attention to the green centre. The central (green piece) comes from one of a few Indian tops that my Japanese friend Saori gave to me to cut up.
The edging comes from the same top. The back is made from corduroy cotton from a pair of mens trousers formerly belonging to my husband Nicolas. The dark blue piece on the front part are raw silk. And still some bits given to me by Anna when she was tidying her workshop.
This is one of my son's own two baby blankets. As time goes by the corduroy fabric on the backing will soften.
