It's made from a mix of Fairtrade fabrics and remnants given to me by a fashion designer from Hackney, on the patchwork side.
The edging comes from a pillow case.
The backing and cotton wading was given to me by a market trader from the Broadway Market, along with other large pieces of fabric dug out from her cupboards!
Here's a picture of it on my son, as it's one of his own two baby blankets.
