One of 4 blankets I made on holiday in Southern France a few years ago.
I used a selection of oddbits, and recently added the red birds head to echo the pattern on the dark purple fabric. The stitching from the head is visible on the back.
At the back there is a PIECE UNIQUE label and a fabric tab to hang the blanket up out of the way.

I gave this blanket as a Christmas 2008 gift to little Lorenzo, born in Italy on the 7th June 2008 to Violaine and Paolo.
