One of 4 blankets that I made on holiday in Southern France a few years ago, using a selection from my old collection of bits and pieces.
The silk inclusions come from a menswear fashion company in London. They were initially samples of Italian silk, going to the wastebin, that I salvaged.
The backing is plain cotton (a gift from friends Agathe and Violaine for my birthday in my early twenties). With a PIECE UNIQUE label and fabric tab on the back.
The edging comes from a piece of Marylin Monroe themed fabric, which I think used to belong to my older sister Jade.
Size 60 x 60cm.
