There’s still lots to do in my home to make it ready for arrival of New Baby Number 2. He’s due 4th-6th November. They were more precise with the due date of my first son Dazaï! And he arrived spot on the day!
Most of my time is taken with reorganising the space in the house; making up little wooden storage things; sorting things out; preparing clothes to pass on to friends; organising new areas so that we all have our own space...
My Dad’s been helping a lot with the DIY. I’ll post some pictures soon of his great wooden recycled craft furniture!
My Husband Nicolas is helping with what we now call our big “Autumn Clean”. Which means he’ll be vacuuming at 11 at night if it’s convenient for him!
26 month old Dazaï just carries on doing his own thing. He loves being around his Grandad when he’s doing “bricolage” (handy work?).
My craft sewing, Etsy store, AND blogging, on the other hand, have slipped by the wayside, but I am planning for a little “revival” after the 15th depending on how I get on with my To-do list.
In the meantime I’ll just post a picture of a striking tomato, reminiscent of the evading summertime!

Il y a encore beaucoup à faire en attendant l’arrivée de bébé numéro 2, attendu pour le 4-6 Novembre. La date était plus précise pour mon premier fiston, qui est arrivé pilepoil le jour-dit.
La plupart de mon temps est pris par la réorganisation de la maison ; la fabrication de petits objets de rangement en bois ; faire du tri ; préparer des habits à passer aux ami(e)s ; préparer des espaces définis pour que nous ayons tous notre petit espace dans la maison…
Mon père nous aide énormément avec le bricolage. Je posterais bientôt des photos de ses objets de mobilier en bois de récupération !
Mon mari, Nicolas, aide au « grand nettoyage d’Automne » comme nous l’appelons maintenant. Ce qui veut dire par exemple qu’il passe l’aspirateur a 11heures du soir s’il trouve cela pratique !
Notre fils Dazaï, 26 mois, continue sa petite vie ! Il adore être avec Papi quand il fait du bricolage.
Ma couture créative, boutique Etsy, ET mes blogs, sont passés à l’as récemment, mais je prévois de m’y remettre après le 15 si j’avance bien sur ma liste de choses à faire.
Entretemps, je vais juste poster la photo d’une bien belle tomate qui nous rappellera l’été qui vient de nous échapper !
