Sheshanna Highfield et Matthew Burton ont réuni leurs univers (bois pour l’un, textile pour l’autre) pour réaliser à quatre mains ce papillon qui s'est  « posé » le 05 Août au cirque de Mourèze.

Née de la rencontre entre le land art et l’art textile, cette œuvre est visible le long du sentier artistique du Festival de Mourèze. Ce parcours sur le thème "du temps" est en libre accès jusqu'au 31 août et comporte cette année 17 pièces créées par 20 artistes. Toute la programmation sur festivaldemoureze.org

The collaborative work by Matthew Burton and Sheshanna Highfield resulted in this great big butterfly “landing” in the wild surroundings of Mourèze, Hérault, South of France, in what is known as the Cirque de Mourèze.

For the eleventh year the Association Les Bacchanales has organized both a music Festival and a Land’Art event. The theme this year was “Time”. This piece along with another 17 created by 20 different artists, can be seen freely till 31^st August. For more information festivaldemoureze.org
