LA GLOIRE DE MON PERE

LA GLOIRE DE MON PERE
I’ve named this post after a famous book by renowmed French author Marcel Pagnol, depicting rural France holidays in the near region of Marseilles, in the days when cars were not such a commodity, telephones very rare… it is a very quaint story, followed by other depictions of the families summer holidays in a lost mas on the hillside.
Here my little boy is observing a “scolopendre” which my husband trod on last week. At first we thought he’d been bitting by a snake and only realized our mistake the day after. So it was a little adventure, and our boy was very taken by his observation.
