Vanessa's baby blanket

My friend Vanessa is expecting her little boy on the 11th March. 

Here is his own personnal little blanket, made with super soft marine jersey for the backing and edge - I used it as the middle layer too. The pattern is made from a patchwork of Fairtrade fabrics:

- Dark blue floral patterns on white background

- And striped - super soft too - pale blue, turquoise and grey on a dark grey background. Entirely hand stitched around the edges. 

I'm looking forward to giving it to her!

Mon amie Vanessa va accoucher de son fiston le 11 Mars. 

Voici une petite couverture juste pour lui! Je l'ai faite avec un jersey couleur marine, très doux, pour le dos et le pourtour – ainsi que pour l'épaisseur du milieu. Les motifs du devant sont faits avec un patchwork de tissus issus du Commerce Equitable:

- Des motifs floraux bleus foncés sur fond blanc

- Rayures - super doux aussi - bleu, turquoise et gris pale sur fond gris foncé

 Entièrement cousu à la main le long des bords. 

J'ai hâte de la lui donner!
