Myriam's cushion cover finished

Finally I've finished this cover for my friend Myriam.  

She gave me a batch of textiles, including linen, last year.  

Some of it came from her Grandmother, or was hand-embroidered by her as a child. 

I promised I'd make her something. 

I didn't use any of her fabric in the end as it wasn't quite bright, lively and colourful enough for what I wanted to make for her.  

I especially love the purple Swirl and bird fabric on the front.

The back black/green motif comes from a men's shirt.
