I've been working on this idea of a skirt for nearly a week. This selection of fabric comes straight from the design room of the London based UK Fairtrade Fashion company People Tree Ltd, who were over
here last week on a photoshoot trip. The photoshoot went really well. I wasn't so involved as in the past, as my baby is still very young, but mainly helped spotting locations in advance and a bit of trouble shooting here and there.
I love every single piece of textile from the big bag they brought along for me. I made my latest skirt by cutting and individually backing various shapes, then assembling all the pieces on a neat belt. Some tweecking at the end. I'm quite happy with the result. Shame I've had to improvise for the pictures. I'll be posting them soon.
