Baby blanket: The Bird with Long Legs - SOLD

The Bird with Long Legs walks across a piece of dark blue cotton jersey. It is made with a piece of fabric given to me by my friend Saori in London. The little flower comes from my little sister Gloria; and the large piece at the top was a sample of handwoven fairtrade fabric from a British company I used to work for.

At the back of the blanket there is a fabric tab to hang it up; a Piece Unique label, and a hood to cover Baby's head, which is made out of terry towelling (organic and fairtrade).

The edges come from larger pieces of fabric given to me by friends.

This blanket went to Sophie and Andy's little George, born late summer 2008 in the UK.
